Mary E. Broome, 59, of Millville died unexpectedly on Monday, June 16, 2014 at her home.
Born in Prince Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Calvin F. Broome and Matilda Smith Broome. Mary had lived in Millville for the past 40 years and prior to that she had resided in Port Norris.
She was currently employed with the Durrand Glass Co. in Millville for over 20 years and was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Port Norris.
Surviving are her four children, Neptina Broome of Millville, Roy R. Bowser, III of Millville, Clarence F. Bowser of Millville and D'Andre Holden of Vineland; seven brothers and sisters, Calvin F. Broome, Jr. of Woodbine, Corledia Broome of Millville, Arlenda Gaskins of Vineland, Judith A Broome of Millville, Clarence F. Broome of Egg Harbor Twp., Dale F. Broome of Bridgeton and Annette Bourne of MD, 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two special nephews, Lonnie Broome and William Gaskins and a special niece, Vicki Davis. She was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Broome.
Funeral services will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2411 Memorial Ave, Port Norris on Saturday, June 21st at 12 Noon. Interment will take place at Haleyville Methodist Cemetery in Commercial Twp.
