John A. Orosz, 73, of Upper Deerfield Twp. died on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 following a battle with pancreatic cancer at his home under the care of hospice.
John was born in Barnesboro, PA to the late Andrew Orosz and Mary Haycisak Orosz. In the early 1960's, he moved to Bridgeton and around 1976 started the construction of his home in Upper Deerfield where he lived for the rest of his life.
Prior to his retirement, John had worked as a serviceman for Woodruff Energy for over 30 years. He had also been formerly employed by SteveCo Knit in Bridgeton and Val Mode Co. in Bridgeton. In his free time, he enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets and watching the History Channel and the Discovery Channel. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. John loved to spend time with his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Jeannette “Netty” Pace and her husband, Scott of Millville and Tammy Bailey and her husband, Jac of Dennison, OH; two grandsons, Scott and Danny; a great-grandson, Bentley; two brothers, Jerry Orosz and Jay Orosz both of Barnesboro, PA; and his granddogs, Simba, Rudy, and Reggie. He was preceded in death by; two brothers, Joe Orosz and Jim Orosz the love of his life, Betsy.
