Obituary of Michael "Smitty" G. Smith

On August 15, 2016 Michael G. Smith, “Smitty” beloved father and husband, passed on. Born on November 4, 1955, he is preceded by his parents Harold and Dora Smith and older brother, Steven. He is survived by; his son, Jesse (Cathy); wife of 35 years, Louise; a grandson, Lucas Bradford Smith and a niece, Lisa Hyde (Peter). He was the owner and operator of Smitty’s Motorcycle Service and Salvage from 1980-85. After closing the business, he was a motorcycle mechanic at various shops in the South Jersey area. He bred and raised Dobermans and loved them all dearly. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and knife and hatchet throwing, always right alongside his son. Smitty also enjoyed woodworking and canning in his free time. Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 3 PM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2 PM to 3 PM prior to the services.
