Obituary of Doris M. Colaneri

Doris M. Colaneri, 66, of Mays Landing died unexpectedly on Sunday evening, October 16, 2016 at her home. Doris was born in Bridgeton to the late Robert Hughes and the late Filomena Colaneri. She had been a resident of Mays Landing since 2010 and prior to that she had lived in Atlantic City from 1991-2010. Before that she had resided in Bridgeton. Prior to her retirement, Doris had been employed by Strike Force Security in Atlantic City as a security officer for over 10 years. She had also worked at Harrahs Casino in Atlantic City for 10 years. In her free time, Doris enjoyed listening to music of all types, traveling, going to the beach and spending time with her grandchildren. Doris is survived by; her son, Julius Badger and his wife, Tammy of Mays Landing; three grandchildren, Dennis, Denice and AJ; seven great-grandchildren, five sisters, Emily, Mary, Tina, Rita and Wanda; three brothers, Bobby, Irving and Nathan and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by; her son, Tony; her life partner, Joe and two granddaughters, Jackie and Julia. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday evening, October 20th at 8 PM.
