Obituary of Francis R. Naabe

Obituary F. Robert Naabe, 87, of Woodstown died on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Inpatient Hospice Unit at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE. Born in Williamstown to the late August H. Naabe and Harriet Roun Naabe, he was the husband of the late Alice Hazelton Naabe. Robert had lived in Woodstown for 41 years and most recently had resided at Friends Village. Prior to his retirement, Robert had worked as a truck driver. He had also worked with his brothers at Hi-Way Garage as an auto mechanic for 25 years and later at Fisher Pontiac-GMC. In addition to being a caregiver for his wife until 2004, he would befriend and transport others to their medical and treatment appointments. Throughout his final journey on this earth, he retained his sense of humor and cooperative, appreciative spirit to all of his caregivers. Robert is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by; his wife, Alice (Hazelton) Naabe and two brothers, Clarence and Bill. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in F.
