Obituary of Elliot J. Fitzgerald

Elliot J. Fitzgerald, 65, of Bridgeton died on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at his home following an extended illness. Elliot was born in Florida to Walter Fitzgerald and Mattie White Fitzgerald and had been a resident of Bridgeton and Woodstown for most of his life. Prior to his retirement, he had worked as a delivery driver for several local supply companies. He had also worked for Dupont in DE for many years. In his free time he liked to barbeque and spend time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed listening to oldies music and detailing cars. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Hart of Bridgeton; four grandchildren, Sania Loatman of Alaska, Sadale Loatman of Bridgeton, Samari Wells of Bridgeton and Saheed Maitland of Bridgeton; four brothers, Mark Fitzgerald of Capitol Heights, Mark Wilson of Port Norris, Percy Wilson of Bridgeton and Tyrone Wilson of Millville; two sisters, Elaine Wilson of Woodstown and Gwendoline Pierce of Miami, Fl and many other family members. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Darrell Wilson, Cedric Fitzgerald and Stanley Fitzgerald and a sister, Clementine Moon. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, November 18th at 11 AM.
