Obituary of Brenda Joyce Price

Brenda J. Price, 63, of Bridgeton died on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland. Brenda was born in Sommerville, TN to the late Herman Sheppard and Contella Dean. She moved to the Bridgeton area in the late 1950's where she was a resident for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, Brenda had worked as a supervisor for B&B Poultry in Norma for over 10 years. She had also worked for Meridian Health Care as a healthcare aid and at the former Murbeck Manufacturing Co. in Bridgeton. She was an active member of John Wesley United Methodist Church in Bridgeton. In her free time, Brenda enjoyed sewing and volunteered her time at a local food bank. She is survived by a sister, Doreen Dean-Carter (Sharpie); a brother, Curtis Joynes (Caroline); a grandson and his fiancé, Darian J. Surrency and Jayasia McPherson; a great-grandson, Jayceon Surrency and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. She was preceded in death by; her daughter, Dalphine D. Dean; a niece, Olympia “Libby” Dean and a nephew, Kevin K. “little man” Dean. Funeral services will be held at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 90 Matthew Brown Way, Bridgeton on Saturday, February 4th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Township. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
