Obituary of Ronald A. LaDow

Ronald A. LaDow, 87, of Fairfield Twp. died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland following a brief illness. Born in Bridgeton to the late Alan S. LaDow and Mary Beatrice Danzenbaker LaDow, he was the husband of Esther J. Stiles LaDow. Ronald had been a Fairfield Twp. resident most of his life. Prior to his retirement, Ronald had worked at Foster Ford Glass Co. formerly Kerr Glass and Armstrong Glass for over 40 years. He had also done nursery work. Ronald was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict. He had been stationed in New York, Japan and France. In his free time, Ronald enjoyed gardening, cutting grass, hunting for arrowheads, and bicycling. He also visited to Cowtown every Tuesday. He is survived by; his wife, Esther J. LaDow of Fairfield Twp.; two daughters, Donna LaDow of Fairfield Twp. and Diane Smith and her husband, Michael of Hopewell Twp; a sister, Mary Jane Hoosier of Kentucky; 3 grandchildren and a 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by; a brother, Myron “Ducky” LaDow and a sister, Rebecca Ivans. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp on Saturday, March 11th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
