Obituary of Milo W. Hannah
Milo W. Hannah, Jr., 77, of Hopewell Twp. died unexpectedly on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.
Born in Clayton, he was the son of the late Milo W. Hannah and Violet Todd Hannah and the husband of Serene Biggs Hannah. He had been a Hopewell Twp. resident for 54 years and had lived in Shiloh and Bridgeton prior to that.
Before his retirement, Milo had been employed with the Cumberland County Road Department for 25 years and prior to that with Sam’s Texaco Service Station in Bridgeton for 32 years.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bridgeton where he served as a Trustee and on the Church Counsel. A member of the South Jersey Drifters Car Club, he enjoyed his antique cars and doing work in his yard.
In addition to his wife, Serene, he is survived by his two sons, Milo W. Hannah, III (Missy) and David J. Hannah (Nickole); his daughter, Serene M. Hannah-Santiago (Milton, Sr.); four grandchildren, Milo W. Hannah, IV (Natasha), Tristan D. Hannah (Lyndsay), Brittney M. Hannah-Veach (Preston) and Milton L. Santiago and two great-grandchildren, Abraxus (Rex) Hannah and Cohen Milo Veach; a brother, Dr. John D. Hannah (Carol) and two sisters, Bette Pepple and Myrtle Ross. He was predeceased by a sister, Naomi V. Hannah.
Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Tuesday, May 9th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 to 11 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp.
