Obituary of Barry D. Wulderk

            Barry D. Wulderk, 68, of Hopewell Twp. died on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland following an extended illness.

            Born in Bridgeton to the late Arthur Wulderk and Aleda Sipe Wulderk, he was the husband of Emily Beecroft Wulderk for 44 years. Barry had been a resident of Hopewell Twp. since 2004 and prior to that he had lived in Upper Deerfield Twp.

            Prior to a work related injury, he had worked for the Landis Sewerage Authority as a senior sewage engineer. Barry had also been employed at the Cumberland County Utilities Authority and with the Mosquito Commission. He had coached the Bridgeton Gems Football Team and with the Cohansey Soccer Club.  In the 70’s he had jammed with the band “Frog Ocean Road” and loved dancing with his wife. In his free time, he enjoyed nurturing his love of nature, bird watching and reading. Barry loved to spend time with his children and granddaughter. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, lover of all types of music and collector of many things.

            Besides his wife Emily, he is survived by his son, Barrett J. Wulderk of Upper Deerfield Twp.; his daughter, Leila Wulderk and Juan Lemus of Coatesville, PA; a granddaughter, Ariana Lemus; a nephew, Scott Wulderk of Hammonton and several cousins. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Aleda Joy Wulderk and two brothers, Arthur Wulderk and Rhett Wulderk.

            Memorial services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Sunday, May 14th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Barry's memory to The Nature Conservancy, 4245 N. Fairfax Dr., Suite 100, Arlington, VA or to the NJ Audubon Headquarters, 9 Hardscrabble Rd., Bernardsville, NJ 07924.
