Obituary of Edward "Jake" P. Table

Edward “Jake” Table, Jr., 68, of Upper Deerfield Twp., died on Friday, May 12, 2017 at his home under the care of his family and hospice.

            Born in Bridgeton to the late Edward “Ed” Table, Sr. and Margaret Karstensen Table, he was a lifetime Bridgeton area resident.

            Jake owned and operated Ed's Body Shop in Bridgeton where he had been employed with his family his entire working life that began there at the age of 13. He was well known as the familiar face that arrived on the scene with the tow truck. Jake was also a skilled and well known bowler and enjoyed NASCAR racing.

            He is survived by his son, Edward “Jay” Table, III and his wife Gina of Hopewell Twp.; his daughter, Kelly R. Miletta and her husband, Bruno of Upper Deerfield Twp.; three grandchildren, Tyler Hoehe and Kyle, Alison Table and Hailey Table; a sister, Brenda Table-Giorno of Upper Deerfield Twp. and his companion, Diane Miletta of Upper Deerfield Twp.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Cook and his brother, Robert “Dinker” Table.

            Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, May 20th at 11:30 AM. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11:30 AM prior to the services.
