Obituary of Phyllis C. Graves

Phyllis C. Graves, 65, of Upper Deerfield Township, died on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Genesis Millville Center. Born in Bridgeton in on March 31, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Philip F. Cenaro and Rose A. Ciappa Cenaro. She was the wife of Sherman E. Graves, Jr. She had resided in Upper Deerfield Township for 40 years and had live in the Bridgeton area for 60 years. She had been employed as a legal secretary at Jacob, Ferrigino, and Chiarello Law Firm in Millville. Prior to that she had been employed at Wawa in Upper Deerfield, Jim's Deli in Carll's Corner, the Bridgetown Restaurant in Bridgeton, and the Parish of the Holy Cross. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Bridgeton. She is survived by; her husband Sherman E. Graves, Jr.; a son, Sherman E. Graves, III of Upper Deerfield Twp; a grandson, Sherman P. Graves; a sister, Dolores "Dee" Hill and husband Gary of Hopewell Township; two brothers, Mark Dayton and wife Virginia of Bridgeton and Thomas Talley and wife Angie of Upper Deerfield Township; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Gary Hill, Sr., Gary Hill, Jr., Everett "Buddy" Lanning III, Stephen Graves, James Meyers and Tom Speranza. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sherman P. Graves and John Stahlberger. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNENAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Friday May 5, 2012 at 11 AM. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening, May 10, 2012 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home and from 10 AM to 11 AM, prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville following the services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to South Jersey Healthcare Hospice Care, P.O.
