Obituary of Elena E. Jones

            Elena “EJ” Jones, 70, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at her home under the care of family and hospice.

            She was the daughter of the late Herbert R. and Ella Mae Jones and had been a lifetime Upper Deerfield Twp. resident. 

            Prior to her retirement, Elena had been employed with Kimble Glass Co. and Gerresheimer Glass Co. in Vineland for 42 years. 

            Surviving are her four sisters, Lillian Jefferson, Betty R. Jones, Sandra Jones and Janet Carty (husband, Don); her treasured friend, Betty Hoffman and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, a great-great niece and great-great nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother, Herbert D. Jones.  She leaves behind her family who were the love of her life.

            Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, September 18th at 11 AM.  Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services.  Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp.  Written condolences can be sent to the family at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
