Obituary of Georgia E. Newman

            Georgia E. Newman, 91, of Upper Deerfield Twp. died on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at home under the care of hospice and her family.

            Born in Lewisburg, WV to the late George Gardner and Mamie Williams Gardner, she was the wife of the late James N. Newman. She had been an Upper Deerfield Twp. resident for most of her life.

            Prior to her retirement, Georgia had been employed as a homemaker for several families assisting with housekeeping.

            She is survived by five children, Lawrence Newman and his wife, Karen of Deerfield Twp., Inez Newman of Fairfield Twp., Tina Renni and her husband, Earl of Upper Deerfield Twp, Karla Newman of Philadelphia and Gina Burrus of Upper Deerfield Twp; 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, James, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Newman; three brothers and one sister.
