Eva Baker, age 82, of Cedarville passed away at her home on Sunday, June 10, 2012 with her family at her side. A Cedarville resident since 1937, she was born in Philadelphia on June 5, 1930 to the late Michael Korbilka and Eva Plawvianyk Korbilka and was the wife of Frederick F. Baker. A homemaker, she had been employed outside the home at different periods in her life but her special talent was giving to her family. An excellent cook and baker, she also loved flowers, gardening and music. Eva will be remembered for her love and kindness and her generosity and sense of humor. She is cherished and will be greatly missed. In addition to her husband of 62 years, Frederick, she is survived by two daughters, Frances and Evelyn; a sister Anne Barlam and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter Kathryn, a special sister in law and friend, Margaret (Baker) Storm and several siblings. Her Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Parish of the Holy Cross, St. Michael's Church, 367 Main Street, Cedarville on Thursday, June 14th at 11 AM. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Cedarville. The family asks that contributions in Eva's memory be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1060 North Kings Highway, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
