Roger N. Goldsborough, age 64, of Bridgeton, died on Monday, June 18, 2012 at South Jersey Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Born in Alloway Township on August, 28 1947, he was the son of Lottie Thompson Goldsborough of Bridgeton and the late Donald H. Goldsborough. He had been a lifetime resident of Bridgeton. Roger had been employed with the Garden State Fence Company in Cedarville. He had also coached Little League and Babe Ruth Baseball locally. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three brothers, Rev. Douglas Goldsborough of Lawnside, Larry Livingston of SC and Donnie Jones of SC; four sisters, Phyllis Bryant of Bridgeton, Agnes Mason of Bridgeton, Betty Nutter of Port Norris and Linda Seawright of SC; an uncle, Willard "Spider" Goldsborough of Candor, NC and many nieces, nephews and family. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence Jones, Jr., Michael Jones, and Donald A. Goldsborough. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 23rd at Union Baptist Temple, 30 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Bridgeton, NJ at 11 AM. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Township. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
