Obituary of Adam Grasser, Sr.

Bridgeton - Adam Grasser, age 82, passed away peacefully at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland on February 24, 2018, with his loving wife Martha at his bedside. Adam was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Adam was born in Yugoslavia on February 22, 1936, and in his youth resettled in Germany with his family. In his late teens he immigrated to this country from Germany, and for many years he worked at Seabrook Farms. At age 19 he married his wife Martha (Schwarz) who had also had come to this country from Germany. Together they raised three children Adam, Jr., Debbie, and Mark and have also helped raise and care for grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Adam is survived by his wife of 63 years Martha, sons Adam, Jr. (wife Barbara), Bridgeton, NJ, and Mark (partner Allie), Cherry Hill, NJ; sister Linda Heine, Detroit, MI; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, and nieces and nephews.

Adam was preceded in death by parents Elizabeth and Peter, brother Peter, and daughter Debbie.

There will be no funeral service. Condolences may be forwarded to wife Martha.
