Obituary of Peggy Lou Hall
Peggy Lou Hall, 81, of Hopewell Twp. passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at her home.
Born in Athens, West Virginia to the late Theodore C. Thompson and Virginia Journee Thompson, she was the wife of Emmett “Zeb” Hall. Peggy had been a resident of Hopewell Twp. for the past 40 years.
Prior to her retirement, she had worked at Owens Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton and Comar Glass in Vineland. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church in Upper Deerfield Twp. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting, crocheting and knitting.
Besides her husband, Zeb, she is survived by her daughter, Bridgett S. Cirri of Bridgeton; two grandsons, Sergio P. Cirri and Jonathon M. Cirri; two sisters, Ruth Evelyn Thompson -Howington of Princeton, W.VA and Shirley Ann Thompson-Devore (Steven) of Bridgeton; two brothers, David Harmon Thompson (Linda) of Athens, W.VA and Walter Lee Thompson (Cathy) of Bridgeton and a sister in law, Darlene Thompson. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Ruby Jewell Johnson, Cleve Jack Thompson, Robert Eugene Thompson and Bertha Layne Thompson.
Funeral services will be held at First Wesleyan Church, 200 West Laurel Heights Dr., Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, April 9th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
