Obituary of Gene E. McCloud

            Gene E. “Lefty” McCloud, 84, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Cumberland Manor.

            Lefty was born in North Carolina to the late Coy McCloud and Ida Jackson McCloud. He had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Twp. for 70 years.

            Prior to his retirement, he had worked at Owens Illinois Glass Co. and M&G Electric Supply Company both in Bridgeton. In his free time, he enjoyed sports, especially basketball.

            He is survived by his niece, Joyce Tomlin of Hopewell Twp. He was preceded in death by his sister, Roberta L. Lowe.

            Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family at Deerfield Presbyterian Cemetery.
