Obituary of Charles E. Baker

Charles E. Baker, age 73, of Fairfield Township died Sunday, July 1, 2012 at South Jersey Extended Care in Bridgeton. He had been in declining health for the past two years. A lifetime Fairfield Township resident, he was born in Bridgeton on May 30, 1939 to the late James M. Read and Viola Grace Read. He had been employed with the Cohanzick Country Club in Fairton for many years. Surviving are a sister, Joan Bender of Bridgeton; two brothers, Robert Baker of Fairfield Township and Wayne Baker of Millville and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth Baker and James Read and a sister, Barbara Baker. Cremation and inurnment took place at Laurel Lawn Crematory, Upper Deerfield Township. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
