Obituary of Juanita May Chin
Juanita May Chin, 84, of Port Norris died on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.
Born in Port Norris to the late Charles Amos Camper and Maria Ellen Waters Camper, she was the wife of Andrew O. Chin, Sr. Juanita had been a lifetime resident of Port Norris.
Prior to her retirement, she had worked at Gorton Seafood Company in Millville. Before that, Juanita had been employed by Riggins and Robbins Seafood Company in Port Norris. She was a member of the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob in Bridgeton where she served as a senior mother. Juanita was known to love God and her family. In her free time, she enjoyed bargain shopping.
She is survived by; her husband, Andrew O. Chin, Sr. of Port Norris; five children, Scarlet M. Chin of Jersey City, Andrew O. Chin, Jr. and his wife, Joyce of Millville, Christine Chin of OH, David A. Chin and his wife, Sandora of Vineland and Angelia Chin of MD; six siblings, Tammy Williams and her husband, Don of PA, Clarence Camper of Port Norris, Patrick Camper and his wife, Betty of Port Norris, Harold Camper of Port Norris, Verona Camper of Millville and Nicole Gibbs of Millville; an adopted sister, Grace Heggs of Bridgeton; 10 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2411 Memorial Ave., Port Norris on Saturday, June 23rd at 1 PM. Interment will take place at Haleyville Methodist Cemetery in Commercial Twp.
