Obituary of Ruth E. Brown

            Ruth E. Brown, 60, of Newport passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. 

            The wife of Alonzo Brown, Jr., she was born in Millville and was the daughter of the late Carl Lee and Hannah Thompson Lee.  She had lived in Newport over 30 years and prior to that had resided in Fairfield Township. 

            A homemaker, Ruth enjoyed crafts and solving crossword puzzles. 

            In addition to her husband, Alonzo, she is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Ann Brown of Bismark, ND; two sons, Alonzo Brown, III of Wildwood and Jerry Brown of Newport; two sisters, Charlotte Camp and Debbie Porter both of Millville and 7 grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a son, Walter Brown and a brother, Walter Brown. 

            Graveside funeral services will be held at Leesburg Cemetery on Monday, July16th at 10 AM where the interment will follow the services.  Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Cedarville.  Written condolences can be sent to the family at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
