Obituary of Cora B. Jones

            Cora B. Jones, 84, of Millville died on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland.

            Born in Crisfield, MD to the late Robert and Virgie Teagle, she was the wife of the late Otho W. Jones. Sr. Cora had been a resident of Millville over 20 years and prior to that she had lived in Port Norris.

            Before her retirement she had worked at the Vineland Developmental Center and at the K-Mart Department Store in Vineland. She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church in Port Norris where she was a member of the chancellor choir and the praise choir. Cora was very active in the church until she became ill.

            She is survived by six children, Otho W. Jones, Jr., Portia Jones, Wanda D. Santiago, Virgie Jones, Cornelius Jones and Valerie Jones all of Millville; two sisters, Adella Barrow of Port Norris and Lele Lawson of MD and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Otho, Sr., she was preceded in death by three sons, Joseph Jones, Anthony Jones and Kenneth Jones; three brothers, Robert Lewis, Arthur John Lewis and Andrew Teagle and three sisters, Dorothy Jones, Carrie Gould and Coretta Teagle.

            Funeral services will be held at John Wesley United Methodist Church, Ogden Ave., Port Norris, on Friday, July 27^th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Haleyville Methodist Cemetery in Commercial Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
