Sending lots of love and prayers! I have such fond memories of being on pops pops boat and feeling like the “king of the world”. He had a heart of gold and the patience of a saint. I will dearly miss him, but know he’ll be in a much happier place.
Hugs and kisses,
Kelsey

Bud was a great man to be around and he was the most tidy person I have ever met. Always a pleasant time when we visited. There a saying that Is appropriate in times like this - “try not to cry too much, but smile because it happened”. RIP and say hello to Mom Mom, Cheryl and Michael.

Our daughters, Kara & Kelsey were so fortunate to have Bud & Ruth as surrogate grandparents. Ruth spoiled the girls and showered them with material gifts and adoring love as her own biological grandchildren. Bud in his quiet unassuming ways, showered the girls with life lessons and taught them to play bocce ball, crabbing, fishing, and boating. It seems like only yesterday, he had them behind the wheel of the boat navigating through the Chesapeake and Ocean City bay. He also taught them rules of sportsmanship during competitive bocce ball games. Every summer for decades, he would have the bikes all tuned up and ready for our annual visit to Aunt Patti”s. I can still hear the joyful laughter at the delight of riding the bikes on the boardwalk. The girls adored and loved their Pop Pop. I know they are so grateful for the lessons learned and the love he extended to them. Although, he is no longer with us, the memories will be cherished for a lifetime, and we will hold them dear to our heart. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to spend some time with Bud this summer. My last memories of him is his beautiful smile, gleaming baby blues, and his voracious appetite. May heaven bring you bountiful feasts and connect you with the love of your life,Ruth, and Cheryl, and Michael.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I will always remember going to get ice cream with pop pop and mom mom on our sleepovers in Ocean City. I will treasure my state coin collection and notes he left when finding new ones for me. Thinking of you in these difficult times.

Alyson and Patty,
I am so sorry to read about pop. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. It is so easy to say he his with your grandmother and Cherly and of course Mike. But it still leaves a hole in our heart. I did not realize what a wonderful life he lived. I am sorry that I can not make it. I had my hip replaced and I still am using a walker.
My God bless your family.
With our deepest sympathies,
Bernadette Glenn and Brad

I remember a time when I was young and I traveled with Uncle Ray, Aunt Marion and Debbie to visit. Buddy was such a force! Years later I visited with mom, daddy and Kevin, Buddy hadn't changed. He took us out on the boat and on returning to the house Ruth had made enough food to feed an army. We went out on an island with them and I had the best crab cakes ever! There were a few times when he and Patti came to Cincinnati for the Fox family picnics or just to visit Uncle Bud and he was always the same force. Some of my favorite times were just sitting within earshot of him and daddy sharing stories. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his grandchildren and with Patti.
