Words cannot express how sad I am of the news of Vanessa's passing. I am her second cousin on the Sheppard side of the family. I have fond memories of Vanessa when she was a little girl, as I would babysit her on occasion. I always thought she had a beautiful name, and loved how my aunt and Vanessa's grand mom Caroline would call her Nessie. Much love and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. God bless all of you and may the Lord heal your hearts as you reflect on Vanessa's life. You have my deepest condolences. Cousin Marion
