Obituary of Donald A. Dayton

            Donald A. Dayton, 83, of Bridgeton died on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland.

            Born in Bridgeton to the late Harry Dayton and Helen Hess Dayton, he was the husband of the late Helen Murray Dayton. Donald was a lifetime resident of Bridgeton.

            He had been previously employed with NAPA Auto Parts in Bridgeton as a parts delivery person for many years. Prior to that, Donald had worked as a floor installer in a self-employed capacity and also for contractors. In his free time, he was an avid sports fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies and NASCAR, specifically Jeff Gordon. He was also a huge Beatles fan.

            He is survived by a son, Donald A. Dayton, Jr. of Vineland; three daughters, Kathleen Stepp of Bridgeton, Tracy Dayton-Brady of Bridgeton and Jennifer Ravencrow of Bridgeton; a brother, Charles Dayton; five grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Carole Crump and a sister, Dale Pattitucci.

            Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, November 26^th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
