Obituary of Frederick A. Williams
Frederick Antonio Williams, affectionately known as “Freddie,” was born on February 17, 1959, in Bridgeton, New Jersey. He was the only child born from the union of the late Delores and Clinton J. Williams.
He attended Gouldtown Primary School and Bridgeton High School. He earned a Black Belt in Karate.
Freddie was a young man who loved the Lord, his family, and his church. He loved his parents and cherished the values they taught him. Quite often when trying to make a point, he would start his sentence by saying “Dad said” or “Mom said.” He had a retentive memory and loved to watch television. His favorite Bible text was John 3:16.
He loved to sing and enjoyed singing with the choir when he was able to do so. He enjoyed attending Bible studies on Wednesday nights and was proud to be a member of the Men’s Hour of Power Fellowship group at his church.
On Wednesday, December 12, 2018, Frederick A. Williams fell asleep in Jesus at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, N.J. Left to cherish many wonderful memories of him are his aunts, Tolleter St. Aimee of Mattapan, Massachusetts; Esmine Harris and her husband, Hewlette, of Milton, Massachusetts; and Valrie Rose-Thompson Bernard and her husband, Orville, of Wayland, Massachusetts; five uncles, Kenneth Rose and his wife, Esmerelda, of St. James, Jamaica; Raymond Rose of Mandeville, Jamaica; Balvin Rose and his wife, Lenora, of Rochester, New York; Victor Rose of Rochester, New York; and Felix Rose of Roxbury, Massachusetts; more than 175 cousins who reside in various countries around the world; other relatives; his very dear friend, Randolph Grant and his family; his church family, and many friends.
