Ron, I hurt for you with these two tremendous losses. I remember how much fun my son Charles had when John came over to play after school at our house. Please know that I and my family are thinking of you at this time. God be with you and give you some comfort.

Words can't express our sadness. Johnny being very knowledgeable could talk about anything. He lived life with so much passion. He was a true outdoors men. Loved his fishing and hunting. Three trophy bucks in front of Michael's stand, one for Michael, one for me & one for you! We'll miss the hours we shared listening to his stories. When Johnny went anywhere it ended up being an adventure. We feel truly blessed that Johnny was in our lives. We love you very much. You will be missed dear friend.

John, you are missed by many. I know that you are whole and healthy again now that you have been called home, but my heart misses you, our crazy conversations and the great care you used in keeping my horses hooves "happy". GodSpeed Dear Friend. Ron and Bob, my heart and prayers are with you. You have both been offered many difficult challenges this past 21 months. Please know there are many that think about you and pray for strenght during these difficult times.

What a journey he had with his life. I remember when he was born. Cutest little guy. We as older cousins always enjoyed him.
What a loss to everyone.

To John's family and friends - I have Sooooo many memories - for 14 years John had been at my farm to do my horses feet. But the day (and it was always a day!) was filled with lots of fun stories, talking politics and shootin' the breeze - I really loved him. Looked forward to every day spent with him and the horses. He was especially good with the young ones, taking his time, being patient - but he could dole out some discipline to the ones who knew better! But never abusive, he loved those animals. Always the professional, he never spoke poorly of any other farrier - always had something nice to say about everyone. Knew a million people - and had a million stories to tell about them! My favorite was a time he was nervous about skiing down a mountain, until after he had a couple of beers in the lodge, then down the mountain he went! John - I will surely miss you for the rest of my life. ~ Cindy Newcomb
