Obituary of John C. Puckett

John C. Puckett, age 77, Rosenhayn, died Saturday, October 1, 2011 at South Jersey Extended Care facility after several years of failing health. The husband of the late Odean F. Seay, he was born in Roanoke, VA on March 5, 1934 to the late Fitzhugh Lee Puckett and Cordelia Powers. He had been a Rosenhayne resident most of his life. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by the South Jersey Gas Co. in Glassboro, Owens Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton and Leone Glass Co. in Millville. John had enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. Survivors include: a daughter, Lisa DiLuzio of Shiloh; a son, Bruce W. Orange of Christiansburg, VA; a sister, Pauline Mottley of South Dakota; a sister-in-law, Golean Cliff of Vineland; and six grandchildren. He had been preceded in death by his wife Odean F. Seay Puckett and two sons, Keith E. Puckett and William L. Orange. Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
