Obituary of William L. Young, Jr.

William L. Young, Jr., 56, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away at his home on Saturday, March 9, 2019.

Born in Millville to the late, Willliam L. Young, Sr. and Patricia Ann Bonner Young, he was the husband of the late, Tina M. Rupert Young. William had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Twp. since 1990 and prior to that he had lived in Hopewell Twp. and Fairfield Twp.

William had worked in plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning for the Cumberland Manor for many years. He had also worked for many different contractors around the Cumberland County area and had been self employed for a time. William had been a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. serving during peacetime. In his free time, he enjoyed watching many of his favorite war movies.

He is survived by; his son, David W. Young of Upper Deefield Twp.; five sisters, Sheryl Lynn McIlvane of Nashville, TN, Ruth Ann Henry of Fairfield Twp., Marlise Counsellor of Hopewell Twp., Kate Young of Upper Deerfield Twp. and Amy Duckartt of Franklin Twp. and two granddaughters, Cameryn Rose and Addison. He was preceded in death by; his wife, Tina M. Young and his son, Christopher G. Young.

Graveside funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton.
