George F. Locker, 79, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at his home.

 

Born in Millville to the late George P. Locker and Reba Dilks Locker, he was the husband of Helle-Mai “Hellee” Hanilene Locker. George moved to Upper Deerfield Twp. in 1972 where he lived for the rest of his life.

 

Prior to his retirement in 2009, George had been employed as a hot end supervisor at Leone Industries in Bridgeton for over 25 years. He started his career in the glass industry with Kerr Glass Co. which became Foster Forbes and then later became National Can, where he worked for over 25 years. In his free time, George enjoyed target shooting, riding his motorcycle and taking day trips with his wife, Hellee.

 

He is survived by; his wife, Hellee Locker of Upper Deerfield Twp.; seven children, Suzanne Gilbert of FL, Karen Locker of Millville, Brian Foster (Connie) of Millville, Vicky Foster Charlesworth (Robert) of Millville, Katherine Foster Hendershot (Edward) of Upper Deerfield Twp., Denise Foster Donnelly (Joseph) of Newark, DE and Debbie Grbic (Lee) of Upper Deerfield Twp. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Hendershot.
