Obituary of John S. Klenk

John S. “Cowboy” Klenk, 48, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at his home.

Born in Bridgeton to the late Robert W. Klenk, Sr. and Lita Scott Klenk, he a resident of Upper Deerfield Twp. most of his life.

John had worked at Aunt Kitty's Foods Co. formerly Hanover Foods Corp. in Vineland for several years. Prior to that, he had been employed by U.S. Foods Co. in Swedesboro. He was a member of the 5th Ward Athletic Club in Bridgeton. John was an avid fan of football and his favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his free time, he enjoyed going to cowtown, spending time with friends and family and enjoying the beach and boardwalk at Ocean City.

He is survived by; his father, Robert W. Klenk, Sr. of Upper Deerfield Twp.; his brother, Robert W. Klenk, Jr. and his wife, Barbara of Upper Deerfield Twp. and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by; his mother, Lita Scott Klenk.

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77 Upper Deerfield Twp on Wednesday, July 31st at 10 AM. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. A visitation will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield on Tuesday evening, July 30th from 6 PM to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in John's memory to the Diabetes Foundation Inc., 411 Hackensack Ave, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
