Zola Holt, 93, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away on Friday evening, August 9, 2019 at her home.
Born in Newport, TN to the late Linten “Kin” Buckner and Effie E. Sneed Buckner, she was the wife of Landon “Brick” Holt. Zola had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Twp. for over 70 years and before that she had resided in Cleveland, OH and TN.
Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by Seabrook Farms in Upper Deerfield Twp., where she served as a shop steward. Zola had attended Tri-County Lighthouse Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, working with ceramics and woodworking. Zola was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and loved listening to country music. She also enjoyed spending time with her dog Cocoa.
She is survived by her children, Judy A. Mahaffey of Pennsville, Wilbert Holt of Vineland and Ronda Holt of Upper Deerfield Twp.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; her husband, Landon “Brick” Holt; a son, Mitchell Holt; a sister, Louzella Atkins and twin brothers, Leonard and Linten Buckner.
Graveside services were held privately at Centerton Free Will Baptist Cemetery in Pittsgrove Twp.. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
