Obituary of James Chapple

James Chapple, Jr., age 74, of Bridgeton died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at his home following a two year period of declining health. The husband of Doretha Armstrong Chapple, he was born in Camilla, GA on July 31, 1938 to the late James Chapple and Charlie Mae Watkins Chapple. He had lived in Bridgeton for the past 20 years and was a Cedarville resident prior to that. Before his retirement, Mr. Chapple had been employed at the Woodbine Developmental Center for 23 years. He attended the Shiloh Baptist Church in Alloway Township. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, three sons, one brother, three sisters, 19 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 97 Cobbs Mill Road, Alloway Twp. on Friday, September 14th at 11 AM. Burial will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township. Friends will be received at the church from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.
