Obituary of Joann C. Cervini

Joann C. Cervini, 63, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. Born in Bridgeton to Joseph P. Chiari and Josephine Majestro Chiari, she had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Twp. for the past 13 years. Prior to that, Joann had lived in Woodstown and Alloway. As an LPN by profession, Joann had been employed with the Eye Associates Surgicenter in Vineland and Memorial Hospital in Salem for many years. Before becoming a nurse, she had worked at Farmers and Merchants Bank and Kolonich and Loder Accountants. In her free time, Joann enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking. She was also a dog lover. She is survived by; her parents, Joseph and Josephine Chiari of Bridgeton; her daughter, Amanda L. Cervini of Upper Deerfield Twp.; three siblings, Michael Chiari and his wife, Linda of Michigan, Karen Kelly and her husband, Tim of Hackettstown and Anthony Chiari of Mays Landing; her dogs, Jake, Sam and Mocha and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at the Parish of the Holy Cross-Immaculate Conception Church, 312 North Pearl Street, Bridgeton on Tuesday, December, 31st at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the mass.
