Bob was a very kind, compassionate and sensitive older brother, son, husband, and father who was always there for his family. He was also a very efficient and well-liked postal employee for 40 years. He and his "side-kick" Glen kept everyone entertained even during the peak holiday seasons while at the same time providing fast and efficient service. He was a 1968 Vineland High School graduate and a 1972 Rutgers University graduate, and he never forgot those with whom he had Vineland/Bridgeton/Millville connections. Most of all, he was and still is loved and cherished forever by all those who crossed his path. RIP dear brother.

Bob was a wonderful big brother that I always admired and appreciated his advice. He had a gentle sense of humor with an easygoing personality that everyone enjoyed. I looked forward to our annual trip to the US Tennis Open in NY. He helped with the care of our mother with her wheelchair at Longwood Gardens and Ocean City boardwalk outings. We all miss not being able to talk with him anymore about anything and everything. Linda Kain

Bob and I were in the same homeroom at Vineland high, A-132. He was probably the quietest one amongst us spirited boys but always wore a smile whenever our HR drew recognition good or bad. Bob, you served your community well and you are an encouragement to us still. You are missed. RIP, my classmate!

A high school and college classmate I had the pleasure of knowing well. During the 12 years I owned a retail business, I saw Bob almost daily. We had many interesting conversations about our shared life experiences, our community, and just "chewing the rag" especially when the post office wasn't busy. I did not share his passion for golf but we spoke at length about almost anything else one could image. He and Glenn were a perfectly matched pair (would have been a great TV show) and I found myself looking forward to the visits, rather than just doing another chore. Rest in peace, Bob!
