Obituary of Mary R. Allen

Mary R. Allen, age 84, of Bridgeton died Friday, September 21, 2012 at her home following a two year period of declining health. A Bridgeton and Stow Creek Township resident most of her life, she was born in Burkesville, VA on August 11, 1928 to the late Joe Randolph and Alice Burkes Randolph. Before her retirement, Mary had been employed at the Vineland Developmental Center for 35 years and also with the former P.J. Ritter Company in Bridgeton for several years. She was a member of the Bridgeton Assembly of God Church. Surviving are a sister, Martha Irving-Hatch of Fairfield Township and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother and seven sisters and her longtime companion, Tom Lowe. Funeral services will be held at the Bridgeton Assembly of God Church, 424 Indian Avenue, Bridgeton, on Saturday, September 29th at 10 AM. Friends will be received at the church from 9 to 10 AM prior to the services. Burial will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton.
