Obituary of Evelyn D. Richman

Evelyn D. Richman, 96, of Bridgeton passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at South Jersey Extended Care in Bridgeton. Born in Hopewell Twp. to the late William W. Davis and Addie Robinson Davis, she was the wife of the late George P. Rocap, Sr. and the late William Richman. Evelyn was a lifetime resident of the Bridgeton area. Prior to her retirement in 1982, Evelyn had worked as a secretary for Cumberland County College and as a legal secretary for the late Russell S. Henderson, Attorney in Bridgeton. She was a graduate of the Bridgeton High School Class of 1941. She is survived by two grandsons, John Rocap and Adam Rocap both of Bridgeton; her sister, Edith Rothermel of VA and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by; her first husband, George P. Rocap, Sr.; her second husband, William Richman; her son, George P. Rocap, Jr. and her sister, Janet Sheppard.
