I’m very saddened to hear of this news. I was a customer who was lucky enough to get several of his wood working pieces. Each year they bring me and my family much joy at the Holidays and I always think of him. I had a friend travelling to NY and had asked if he would stop by to see if Wink had additions I could purchase. I couldn’t get through on the phone and checked the web. I came upon his obituary just now. He was a pleasure to speak with each time we were able to stop on our journey from Florida. I will treasure his creations even more now. May he rest in peace and God Bless him and his family.
Winky always thought I took his place when he joined the Navy and I came to live with Mom and Dad Renshaw. I thanked him years later because Mom and Dad Renshaw saved my life and for that I will always be grateful.
I will miss the twinkle in his eye and all his efforts and love put into leading the choir, preparing us for so many blessed programs at church for Christmas and Easter. His trumpet playing sure helped with the singing. Know that I'm praying for family and close friends. Tom and Ruth Dye
