Obituary of John W. Emery

John W. Emery, 61, of Bridgeton passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Bridgeton, and a lifetime Bridgeton area resident he was the son of Dolores Yarnall Emery of Bridgeton and the late Walter Emery, Jr. He was a self employed painter by trade and had restored historical homes, many in the Mauricetown area. John enjoyed the beach and shore areas, antiquing, gardening and farming and was a total outdoorsman. He also enjoyed antique cars and was a true animal lover. In addition to his mother, Dolores, he is survived by his daughter, Jillian Keen (Ralph) of Millville; two grandchildren, Hunter and Mackenzie Keen; a brother, Kenneth Emery of Upper Deerfield Township and two sisters, Barbara Tindall and Gerry MacViegh both of Delaware. He was predeceased by a brother, Walter Emery, III. Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
