Obituary of Luz M. Ocasio-Colon

Luz M. Ocasio-Colon, 74, of Fairfield Twp. passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Puerto Rico to the late Amadeo Ocasio-Peñas and Maria Vasquez-Colon, Luz had been the long time companion of Jose L. Quiros-Caraballo. She had been a resident of the Bridgeton area since 1968. Luz was a homemaker who loved her family and experienced great joy from helping others. She is survived by; her companion, Jose L. Quiros-Caraballo of Fairfield Twp.; three children, Alberto Ocasio of Clayton, Jesus Santos of Bridgeton and Francisco Colon of Bridgeton; four brothers, two sisters and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deefield Twp. on Friday, August 28th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
