Obituary of Michael A. Hair, Sr.

Michael A. Hair, Sr., 62, of Woodbine passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May Court House. The son of the late Robert J. Hair and Marjorie Miller Hair, he was born in Bridgeton and was the husband of Rose Rott Hair. He was predeceased by his first wife, Betty Jane Godfrey Hair. Mike had lived in Woodbine for the past five months and prior to that had resided in Erma, Millville and Elmer. He had been employed in the Housekeeping Department at Cape Regional Medical Center and had also previously worked at Carl Harz Furniture in Elmer and Big John’s Pizza in Bridgeton. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and also enjoyed playing horseshoes. In addition to his wife Rose, he is survived by four children, Michael A. Hair, Jr. of PA, Butch Hair of Millville, Julie Gross of Millville and Keith Hair of VA; nine grandchildren: two brothers, Robert Jerry Hair of Tuckerton and Mark Hair of Bridgeton. He was predeceased by a sister, Janay Caudill. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Tuesday, September 29 at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Township.
