Richard “Charlie” Charles Glahe, 63, of Atlantic City passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 18 2020 at his home.
Born in Bridgeton to the late Carl Glahe and Katherine Huber Glahe, he was a resident of Atlantic City for the past several years and prior to that he had lived in Fairfield Twp. and Bridgeton.
Charlie had been employed previously at Asplundh Tree Services out of Willow Grove, PA. He had also been employed as a gas station attendant at the former Hess Service Station in Carlls Corner, as a dump truck operator out of Norma and he had done body work at the former Bianco Bros. Body Shop in Bridgeton. Charlie was an avid fan of The Beatles and was even known as “the Beatle” to his friends around Atlantic City.
He is survived by; two siblings, Rosa Miller of Upper Deerfield Twp. and William Glahe of Venice, FL; his nieces and nephews, Nelson Biggs of Dover, DE, Kathy Seeger of Upper Deerfield Twp. and Michelle Glahe of Venice, FL and his great nieces and nephews, Piper, Phoenix, David, Jr. “DJ” and Harlee.
