Obituary of Leslie S. Logan, Sr.

Leslie S. Logan Sr., 44, of Millville passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Bridgeton to Myrtle A. Logan Wilson and the late Leslie Loatman, he was a resident of Millville since the early 1990's. He was the husband of Melissa Marquez. Prior to his disability, Leslie had worked as a welder until the late 2000's. He had also worked in security for a few years. Leslie dedicated much of his free time to charity work mainly helping children in his community. His hobbies included; singing and drawing. He had also loved to spend time with his family. In his younger years, Leslie was the runner up in the 1996 Mr. Millville competition. His family described him as everybody's Papa. He is survived by; his wife, Melissa Marquez of Millville; six children, Alexis Brionn Murray of Woodbine, DaBrasia M. Robinson of Bridgeton, Desiree T. Logan of Millville, Lesly M. Logan of Millville, Leslie S. Logan, Jr. of Bridgeton and My'Jaiden R. Logan of Millville; three grandchildren, Cameron, Ariel and Josiah; his mother, Myrtle A. Wilson of Vineland; his step-father, Thomas Hicks of Chester, PA; his step-dad, Tyrone Wilson of Bridgeton; his siblings, Thomas E. Logan of Bridgeton, Montrell L. Logan of Millville, Ashley L. Logan of Vineland, Takea Hicks of Chester, PA and Tamira Hicks of Chester, PA; his grandmother, Ruth Loatman of Bridgeton; his grandfather, Marvin D. Logan, Sr. of Vineland and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by; his father, Leslie Loatman; his grandmother, Carolyn Annette Allen and his grandfather, William “Bill” Loatman, Sr. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, November 27th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
