Obituary of Virginia Ida Cruz

Virginia Ida Cruz, 78, of Hopewell Twp. passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 at the Cumberland Manor following an extended battle with dementia. Born in Alloway Twp. to the late Viola and William Lacy, Sr., she was a a resident of Bridgeton for most of her life. Virginia was known for her cooking particularly Spanish food. She is survived by; her daughter, Virginia I. Johnson and her husband, Danny of Cedarville and her grandchildren, Fernando Martinez of Cedarville, Ricardo Martinez of Bridgeton, Raymond McDowell of Burlington County and Candi McDowell of Clinton. She was preceded in death by; her siblings, Viola Potts, Mary Horton, Albert Lacy and Dink Lacy and her grandson, Daniel Jimenez.
