Jeff was a larger than life person and great friend. I had the pleasure of playing High School Football with Jeff and we graduated in the same class of 1985. We lost communication for a while but touched bases by phone and Facebook over the recent years. He was so proud of his family. My fondest memories of Jeff are the times we played football together, Jeff was a great athelete and was extremly humble about it. He was recruited by all the major colleges UCLA Syracuse,Maryland Nebraska.
I used to call myself Turner Gill after Nebraska's famous Quaterback, little did I know that Jeff would be attending that fine University living out what I was pretending. Jeff was in the company of other local greats like Mike Rozier,& Irvin Fryar who attended Nebraska as well. It was huge accomplishment on any scale.But he never let it go to his head, he was always the same Jeff. I guess when you're that good you dont have to brag. Jeff I will always remember you,for the great qualitys you had, you will be missed my friend. May you Rest in Peace. Thanks for being in my life I feel honored to have known you. May God grant your Family Peace and Comfort in all this.
