Obituary of Robert F. Riley

Robert F. "Robin" Riley, age 62, of Hopewell Township died unexpectedly on Friday, October 26, 2012 at South Jersey Regional Medical Center. The son of Ethel Homola Riley of Bridgeton and the late Walter Riley, he was born in Bridgeton on May 30, 1950 and was the husband of Susan Fiore Riley. He had been a Hopewell Township resident for 35 years and had lived in Upper Deerfield Township prior to that. An avid animal lover, Robin had previously been employed with the City of Bridgeton as the director of the Cohanzick Zoo for six years. Before that he had been worked as a mason in the construction field. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a brother, Ron Riley of Memphis, TN; a sister, Pat Newsham of Deerfield Township, several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Luca. Graveside services will be held at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Township on Friday, November 2nd at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Robin's memory be made to either South Jersey Health Care Home Care, P.O. Box 126, Salem, NJ 08079 or to the Parish of the Holy Cross, 46 Central Avenue, Bridgeton, NJ 08302. Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL H OME, Upper Deerfield Township.
