Obituary of Joseph B. Cobb

Born in Bridgeton on August 28, 1932 to the late John M. Cobb and Florence Dickerson Cobb, he was the husband of the late Florence Lake Cobb. He had lived at his present address in since January of 2010 and prior to that had been a Cedarville resident most of his life.
Mr. Cobb had previously worked for Wheaton Glass Co. in Millville and the Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Bridgeton. He was veteran of the Korean Conflict and served his country in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by three sons, John Cobb (Phyllis) of Bridgeton, Joseph Cobb, Jr. (Leslie) of Cedarville and Patrick Cobb of Cedarville; a daughter, Leda Marie Garcia (Kenny); a brother, Maurice "Bunk" Cobb, Sr. (Jean) of Cedarville; a sister, Barbara Fithian (Charles) of Fairton, eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Fayette Cobb, Burton Cobb, Samuel Cobb, and John Cobb and a sister, Sarah Cobb.
Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville, on Thursday, November 8th at 11 AM. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Written condolences may be sent to the family through the funeral home website at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
