Obituary of Phyllis A. Raines

Phyllis A. Raines, 81, of Pittsgrove passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center in Elmer. Born in Bridgeton, she was the wife of the late Jack Raines who passed in August of 2020 and the daughter of the late Pauline Mazza Matalucci and Larry Matalucci. She had lived in Pittsgrove for the past six years and was a Hopewell Township and Upper Deerfield Township resident prior to that. Phyllis was a dedicated homemaker to her family and loved the beach and crocheting. She is survived by her son Jack R. Raines and his wife Tracy of Pittsgrove; two granddaughters, Jackalyn Raines and Brittany Womack; her sister, Barbara Spalding of FL and two great-granddaughters. She was predeceased by a son, Terry Lee Raines, a grandson, Jonathon Borgese and a brother, Gene Matalucci. Private graveside services will be held at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township where the interment will follow the services.
