Obituary of George Gould

George “Supreme” Gould, 51, of Williamstown passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Bridgeton to Harriet Gould and the late George Grice, he was the companion of Alexandria Kates for over 25 years. George had resided in Williamstown for the past three years and prior to that he had lived in Millville and Bridgeton. George had been formerly employed by Durrand Glass Co. in Millville, the former Rainbow Nursing Home in Pittsgrove Twp. and the Vineland Produce Block. He enjoyed watching and playing a variety of sports including football and basketball and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. George also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his companion of 25 years, Alexandria “Nettie” Kates of Williamstown; four children, Janaya Gould of Bridgeton, De'Andre Kates of Williamstown, Isaiah Kates-Gould of North Carolina and Nasir Kates-Gould; his mother, Harriet Gould of Bridgeton; his siblings, Wanda Gould of Bridgeton, Rodney Gould (Tamyia) of Indiana and Tina Frasier (Chris) of Fort Lauderdale, FL; five grandchildren, De'Andre Jr., Aiden, Alani, Drevon, Dremere and a host of other family members. He was preceded in death by his father, George Grice, his grandmother, Thelma McGriff and his nephew Rodney Gould, Jr. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, May 21st at 10:30 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM prior to the services.
